«We're Sailing Down the Nile» is the children's book by Laurie Krebs, illustrated by Anne Wilson, published by Barefoot Books in paperback (38 pages, in English).

A group of children sails down the River Nile and discovers vestiges of ancient Egypt alongside aspects of its current culture: the temple of Abu Simbel, the Sphinx, the pyramids, hieroglyphs and Cairo. The rhyming text, with gods and goddesses associated with each destination, turns the trip into a first approach to Egyptian history.

It is a title in the «Travel the World» series; first published in 2007, this paperback edition is from 2008 and includes final informative notes.
